VSC and CES for Texas

Hi All,

Wish u all a happy x mas and new year!!!!!!!!

I am isa and this is my first post.

I have IELTS(overall 7),which expires on august/2006.

I am taking CGFNS on March 2006.I want to work in Texas/Dallas.since i doesn't have CGFNS,i am applying for CES for Texas and VSC.

My doubts are:

1) Do i need to submit all the documents again?(i've submitted all the transcripts for CGFNS already)

2)What about the forms to be filled by registration authorities or i need to fill only the application form?

3)How long it will take to receive both(approx)?

Hope any body can help!!!!!

thanks

Not sure why you are even taking the CGFNS exam, Texas doesn't require it.

You will still need to submit the application for the CES, depends on whether or not your school sent a full set of transcripts or only completed that one page form, will determine if they are needed again.

It is usually several months before you will get permission to sit for the NCLEX exam, and then another four months or so to receive the VSC if you are not already in the US.

If they already have copies of your registrations from your licensing board, then you do not need to submit those again.

Thank you very much suzanne...

I am taking the CGFNS because my IELTS expires on coming august. So i am not sure whether i can write the RN before that.So i thought any way take the CG.

Could you help me in following this:

since I've submitted all the transcripts, what to do with CES forms

ie, Request For Academic Records For Credentials Evaluation and

Request For Validation Of Registration/License For Credentials Evaluation ?

OR I need to send only Application Form For Credentials Evaluation ?

thanks

If they have everything, then you only need to send the actual application. No need to get everything else. They can use what they already have.
