Is there anyway someone could volunteer as a CNA? I was thinking that that probably poses some liability problems, but I cannot take on an actual employed, paid job at this time and was wondering if anyone has ever known of a way to volunteer as a CNA.

I'm not sure about a volunteer CNA position, but why not just volunteer? I'm a volunteer at our local hospital on the OB floor and I love it! I started to give me an idea about going into nursing and I've been there for over a year now.
It's just been a great experience and I've learned a lot!
good luck to you!

I have seen some people do it; I think you should begin inquiring at local nursing homes and hospitals to see what they say.
