I voluntarily surrendered my license about a year and a half ago when I was arrested over some false criminal allegations. I did so to prevent the complaints from being permanent record on my license and I couldn't work anyway with pending charges. The charges were dismissed and I've had my license reinstated without sanction or discipline. My license shows no history of encumbrance at all, I thought a self surrender was viewed as a revocation and would always be there. Was I mistaken or has the board just overlooked something?
This would depend upon the policies of your Board. They can provide the answer to your question, although if it were me, I would just be happy for my good fortune.
