I have heard that the vocabulary portion of the test is really hard because the terms you need to know are not in the study guide. So how is one supposed to prepare for it ? Could someone clue me in on what I can do to figure out what terms or what kind of terms I should be studing? Thanks in advance!

I thought it was hard, and I bought a book to study for it. None of the words were in the book. The good thing is, that your results will be avaraged. I scored high in the other areas, so I passed, but I did bad on the vocabulary.
What kind of words were on the test? That's what I'm looking to find out ! Medical terminology? Body parts? Help:) !
EVERYTHING! That's why you really can't study for it from any book. I had some medical terminology, but mostly there were words that remind you of "todays word of the day is....." , if you know what I mean. Just read your dictionary if you have time. But I would focus on the other areas you will be tested on, because you can study good for those.
So is that what is meant by the "general knowledge" portion of the test? Are the questions multiple choice so it would be a process of elimination if you aren't familiar with the terms?
Most of them are multiple choice, I believe some were fill in the blank. Just relax, you will do fine. It is really not that hard.
