Hello,
I am a nursing student in AR and I am doing my leadership project on infant security in the NICU. I am requesting visitation policies in place on your unit from unit managers or supervisors. Information provided via link or pdf would be great. This information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

It might be a better idea to call units directly or talk to hospital security. Good luck!

Our visitation policy is pretty relaxed. No children less than 2 years old, and 4 people may visit a baby at the same time. Children other than siblings must be at least 12 years old. Visitation is 24/7. A parent must accompany all visitors except grandparents, who may visit by themselves, if parents allow. A security code is obtained from the parents before giving info over the phone.

Mom, dad, and grandparents are all we allow into the NICU (with exceptions made for special circumstances).

2 bedside visitors at a time, mom and dad may fill out a "visitor" form allowing up to 4 other people to visit without the parents present (usually grandparents/aunts/uncles). Parents have 24hr visitation while all other visitors have between 10a-8p. No children under 6 and all children are screened prior to entering (temp/vaccinations/sick contacts)
