Visa Screen and NY CVS Information transfer?

I know that the NY CVS gets all the information from my nursing school and the licensure authority. Can the Visa Screen uns this evaluation information somehow? I could not find a form or something which gives me this information. I mean, the N.Y CVS get the informations anyway--why do not share them with the Visa Screen people?

They are the same people actually. If you look closely, both Visa Screen and the Credentials Verfication for NY are done by CGFNS and ICHP, which are part of the same organization. Once your set of documents are submitted, they can be used for both. Just as long as you send in the application and pay the fees.

That is one of the other reasons that I recommend NY for initial licensure.

Does this mean that I do not have to send the request forms to the nursing school and the license authority because the CVS will do that anyway??? What drives me crazy is that somebody else told me that I have to send the request forms to Germany because the Visa Screen people want their own stuff. This was not an expert--but as the paperwork is crazy anyway I want to do it right.

Yes, read the fine print. For NY and NY only, CGFNS obtains the documents for you. You just sign the release that allows them to obtain them for you.

If they are obtained by you, CGFNS cannot use them per agreement that they have for NY. That is why I recommend NY for initial licnesure. CGFNS will do all of the work for you.

If you look closely at the top of the form for Visa Screen, there is a place to check for them to use the same documents. Just submit the three forms that I told you about and you are all set...........I promise......... :)

Good to know that I can focus on the TSE now-I want to get 50 in April....

Glad that I could help. This is the major reason that I always recommend NY for initial licensure. CGFNS takes care of everything for you. Sure you pay them a fee, but not having to go running around and worrying about translations, etc. is a wonderful thing for most people.
