Visa Screen Issuance Time

It took me only 2 working days for my visascreen issuance from the ichp. but it could take a while for you to recieved it since they will have it mailed either to you or to your agency, depending whom you have authorized.

the IELTS is only good for 2 years. Be sure to apply for your visascreen before the 2 year time.

If you have authorized your agency to received your visascreen, your visascreen will be mailed directly to you agency.

If the English exams expire before the VSC is issued, then you are going to need to retake the exam then. And you never want to apply for the VSC just before your English results expire as it can take up to four months for them to complete their file on you.

Two days only from the time that they received the documents or once they posted that your file was ready for review.

Have never seen them have a VSC ready in just two days from when things are submitted. You are leaving something out here. Just does not add up as you are not the one that is submitting all of the needed items.

Only way that it could possibly be quick is if someone already has gone thru the CVS and they are using the same documents, but again, have never seen it happen in just two days from start to finish and that is what the op is asking.

Average time is several months if one has trained out of the US and about a month if trained in the US.

as soon as they received the last document they will authomaticaly print it and mailed thru 1st class carier.

Again, that is from when the last document is received as well as reviewed. Unfortunately, not all are that quick in getting them submitted. Very rarely does everything even arrive around the same time.

Average time from when the file is opened until the VSC is in the mail is usually a couple of months.

And the VSC is not even needed until the interview with US Embassy, unless one is in the US; then it is needed to submit for anything.

The VSC will be sent to who ever paid for it. If you paid for it, then it will be sent to you; if the agency, then it gets sent to them, just like the license usually does.

They never have anything that they have paid for sent to the nurse.

And I answered the way that I did because documents still need to be reviewed; depends on what the last document that they receive is. If the English, then they could send it the next day, but if the transcripts or something like that, it is not going to happen the next day or two as they need to review them and make sure that the hours, etc. meet their requirements and their requirements can be different from what a state accepts as the minimum.

yes i agree with the above reply, it depend on the last document recieved but VSC issuance is faster once you take the CGFNS exam since you dont have to submit the transcript and license validation form.:typing

But why in the world are people even writing the CGFNS exam any longer? Will not benefit them in any way.

And again, since most are not writing that exam and waiting the several months to sit for it and then again for the results, there is no time saved at all.

I applied for VSC from the US since my nursing education was in the US. After they received my last documents (in my case license verification) and showed online that file was ready for review it took them two business days to issue my certificate.
