Sentera Leigh Career Fair

I am graduating from an associate's degree nursing program next week, and I am planning on relocating to Norfolk. I saw that Sentara Leigh Hospital is having an RN career fair, and I plan to attend that. I am curious if this hospital hires new graduates with associate degrees. I have noticed that many hospitals prefer that you have your BSN. If anyone has any feedback on this, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

princess ann is a new hospital that's opening, and from my interview at leigh i found out that a lot of staff is leaving to the new hospital, leaving a lot of room for new hires. also bon secours is new grad friendly.

sentara healthcare hires new graduates that have acquired a diploma in nursing, associates or bachelor degrees. you must be licensed to practice as an rn in the commonwealth of virginia or hold a license from a compact state with multi-state privledges. all open positions are posted on www.sentara.com/employment and list the mimimum qualifications for each position. some positions require experience in the area in which you are applying and others will consider new graduates. you should apply to positions at www.sentara.com/employment . postings can be added daily, so if you do not see a position of interest on your first visit to the sentara web site, you should check back frequently or set up a search to be notified. hope that helps!
