What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing the timeline for receiving admissions decisions, specifically focusing on when rejection emails will be sent out. Some members have already received rejection emails, while others are still waiting to hear back. There is also speculation about the timing of final decisions and the process for second interviews.

Hi guys! Just submitted my application for VCU's CRNA program with a tentative start date of January 2026. Anyone else applied yet?

Does it mean they've already made admissions decision for the Alexandria site... if a réjection letters starting going out?

Sorry to hear, I didn't get a second interview and I still haven't gotten a rejection letter. Just waiting and waiting. May I ask, how many years of ICU experience do you have?

Just over a year

That's what I'm thinking, maybe they will release all the acceptance between all campuses at the same time. Some campuses still have interviews this week.

Anyone who interviewed for Abington or Alexandria heard from the school yet? The waiting is hard!

It was told to me that we could hear back as early as next week if all goes well and they don't end up adding extra interview sessions. With that being said, I would imagine if you haven't received a denial and a second interview, stay prepared just in case your name is called! Goodluck 🫡

Where did you hear this from? And is your source credible?

Has anyone sent a thank you email after their interview? I can't remember everyone who interviewed me and I don't want to select the wrong emails off of their department website. I interviewed for the Richmond campus

That came from a reply to an email I sent to admissions right before interviews started, so yes. But it could always change, so I hope for news at the end of next week but am prepared for it to come later.

Did you interview yesterday?

Decisions will be made by July 1 according to an earlier mass email below. I do wonder how many candidates they interviewed though. I would like to know my chances 🙂

"We are pleased to announce an exciting change to this year's admissions process. We have designed a two-stage interview experience to allow us to better assess your qualifications and get to know you more personally.

Round 1: Asynchronous Video Interviews

We will begin with asynchronous video interviews, offering you the flexibility to showcase your skills and personality at your convenience.

Invitations for these first-round interviews will be sent out the week of April 1st.

Round 2: Live Virtual Interviews

Following a successful first round, selected candidates will be invited to a live virtual interview. This will provide an opportunity to connect with our faculty and further discuss your qualifications.

Invitations for these live interviews will be sent out at the end of May and will be conducted in the first few weeks of June.

Final Decisions:

We anticipate communicating final admission decisions to all applicants by July 1st.”
