I saw your post on the 2026 start and wanted to say I had applied to the previous cohort and was rejected. I reached out to the admissions director and asked how I can improve. One thing she suggested was to apply to the main campus as opposed to the distance site among other things. I was offered an interview the second time around, got waitlisted and called off the waitlist. So maybe reaching out to them to see how you can be a stronger candidate

Thank you I applied for the Richmond site last year and got rejected. I did reach out and they said I was a really strong candidate but I hadn't taken biochemistry at that time. I have numerous friends in the program and they all suggest applying to the distance site as opposed to the main but at this point we would never know what the best approach is🤷🏽‍♀️. Only hoping to God to get favored.

I hope you do as well!

Hi everyone,

How many shadow hours do you have with your application?

Excited to see what happens to this group. I applied last cycle, was rejected, have spent many hours doing extra course work and participating in education committees. Hoping this cycle goes well!

Hope it goes well for you! Do you mind me asking what site you applied for last year?
