Villanova University DNP-NA CRNA program application 2027

Published

Has anyone applied for the 2027 cohort and heard anything back yet?

Specializes in CSICU RN.

Following this thread... I also applied, haven't heard anything back yet.

Hey! During their open house they said they review all the applications at once, I think they said around March ish (I didn't write down a specific time frame in my notes). I did write down that they plan to do interviews around April and make decision notifications towards the end of July. They said they average about 120 qualified applicants, offer around 60 interviews, and have 32-36 spots. Hope this helps and fingers crossed for an interview!

I also applied early and haven't heard back. also I believe they increased the spots to 45 students, I was at the open house last year

Has anyone heard back about an interview yet?

nothing yet, I contacted the school and I was told they haven't reached a decision yet, they plan to do that by the end of this month.

Thanks for this update! Hopefully we hear something soon

I haven't heard anything yet! Crossing my fingers.

No interview for me, but congrats! I'm curious if anyone is willing to share a little about their resume/experienced. I'm disappointed given this is my second time applying to Villanova and I got an interview the first time. This round I had even more on it (additional classes/graduate classes/etc). Just curious how I could get an interview with less on my resume. Any input is welcome!

I would say just wait, it's early. maybe they are sending their first rounds of interviews.I did have a 3.9 GPA for my bachelor's and 3.7 for my associates degree. 3.5 years in MICU/SICU.CCRN, ACLS. have training on ECMO,CRRT,IABP, Impella .Liver/kidney transplant patients. but for all I know I could still go to the interview and not be selected. will see, I won't interview until next month.

Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the interview! I have all that plus 2 more years. Only ICU I've worked in is a CVICU at a level 1 trauma center. Any other significant extra curriculares? QI projects? Etc?

did have a QI project for my Nurse Residency program and My PHRN to work as a flight nurse. also I move up the nursing ladder I was first a CNA then LPN then RN
