Video - Documentary Idea.

Dear Allnurses Community,

Hello everyone. I am a male nursing student, and I plan on making videos documenting my life through nursing school. I have made one video thus far, but it's not really about nursing school since I haven't technically started yet. I hope you all will subscribe to my channel and provide feedback through this amazing journey I am about to undertake. Here is a link to my first video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niRGREJyvyg

Thanks,

Brian Ruff

Please be very careful doing this. You need to make sure that you don't say anything or film anything that would violate patient confidentiality or you could get in serious trouble. Even posting details about patients without specific identifiers could get you in hot water. A lot of nurses/students have gotten fired/dismissed by posting information online, even if it isn't a HIPAA violation. It's good that you want to document your experiences, but I'm not sure this is the best way to do it.
