I interviewed for a job at their children's hospital in Greenville last November, but was offered another job in another hospital a day after the interview.

Hello @Don1984 I just wanted to ask a few questions... Do you remember how quickly the turn around was after applying before you got an interview. Were the interviews individual or in a group setting. What would you say are the Pros and Cons to their hospital? Thank you for any information you provide!

I had applied to their November New Grad Residency (with one of the placements being NICU). They called me in October and stated that they (NICU) didn't have an opening, but wanted to interview me for their February cohort. I had a phone interview with the nurse manager. They paid for my airfare, two nights hotel, car rental for the interview. I had an in-person interview in Mid November. It was a group interview with an assistant nursing manager with NICU, assistant nursing manager from special care nursery, and a staff nurse. Interview lasted 30 minutes and then I spent about 5-6 hours shadowing a nurse in NICU. It was a nice new children's hospital, but it was located 80 miles from Raleigh and I wanted to be closer to a bigger city. I was offered a job at a bigger NICU the next day after the Vidant interview, so my decision was pretty easy.
