Victor Valley College application Spring 2022

Is anyone applying then?? I'm getting close and so excited!!

I wonder what "response to applicants..." if that's whether or not you are accepted or verifying your application was received. I have a pretty good chance, as long as the points stay the same. I've been denied to 6 colleges so far. Waiting on 2 more now. I started the process for WCU, because I hate this CC process. "Thank you for your interest in our ADN program but, YOU SUCK" is basically what they say. WCU starts April 4th. So I hope I get a denial or approval before that date.

I think it's your answer if you're conditionally accepted or not! Then you have to just pass the TEAS exam. I haven't applied to any programs yet and I'm not looking forward to rejections ? I think my chances for vvc are decent though!

I've taken that TEAS. Did okay. But if the point value is the same, they just want a passing score so that's good for me. The rejections are a funny thing, I was okay with the first one. Then the second one, I was like hmmm... then they kept coming until they started to hurt with each subsequent rejection, each one is a JAB They wear you down. I'll let VVC have a shot at me, and I'm done with that whole process. I don't know how people can apply time after time year after year. Thanks for the INFO

I haven't taken it yet. I did a practice test on the ATI website and did okay. I don't know how people apply for years either, I feel like if I don't get in first round I'm definitely going to be crushed LOL. No problem! I'll update here for VVC as we go on.

Good Luck yall! I applied the first day of the application cycle. 90 points!

75 points is still good! Good luck to you!

I'm applying with only 55 points

I'm a CNA with an AS. I have decent grades a 3.5 in both GPAs but I didn't take any of my classes at VVC. I probably should've written that letter on life experiences for an extra 5 points ?

Thank you! Good luck to you as well. Yeah honestly, I am glad they give points for having taken so many classes there. I hope we all get in!

Yeah, it keeps the students mostly local ya know. Next semester, they are taking 15 points from the courses taken at vvc section and adding extra points for like CNA, lvn, respiratory etc that can stack with AA and BS.

My CNA course professor (who also teaches NP1) told us Wednesday that 209 people applied.

Wow, 209 people. That's a good turnout. I'm not sure my points will be good enough but I'm also willing to go to private school. Good luck ladies! ☺️

209 applications is not a lot. That's good! I'm also glad to hear they're not giving so many points for taking classes at VVC next semester.

The VVC ADN students do their clinicals at my hospital and from the students I've asked, they said their points were in the 90s.

Yea true, I know many other colleges get 1,000 or more applicants. Isn't 90 the max amount even possible? If I don't get in this round I'm going to retake physiology at SCUHS.
