Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Is there anyone that recently applied to the VVC nursing program. I'm trying to just connect with a few people that can give out some insight.

I'll be applying with 83 points which is a decent chance. But yea, I can't wait until vvc reopens.

I'll have 90 assuming I get an A in physio so we shall see LOL.

I have no kids,, so im ready. Whatever God has in store for me I'm going to suffer. If I don't get in this time tgen vvc was for me.

I have 4 kids so VVC really is the absolute best option. I mean, I might be able to do other programs, but extra drive=extra childcare=more money

I hope they don't change their criteria. I can't find it on the school's page.

Same, I feel like they might. But then again, Diane sent me the same sheet I got at the beginning like 6 months ago when she told me they were eliminating the wait list. Maybe just make the TEAS weigh heavier? I don't know. I just want SOME info LOL. I messed up with APU, I'll need like 6 additional classes if I want to go there. But I am pretty much done with pre reqs for CSUSB, just need an art class for transfer.

IV talked to her several times via email, she said they hired a new director and she wants sure if the requirements were going to change but she did ask to be apart of any meetings and discussions regarding the program. So who knows. I did all my classes and requirements based off the old stuff so we will see. And yeah, they redid the website and I can still see the old page, jus looks a lil updated but it has exactly same info minus the "when to apply" portion. So who knows!

I noticed that too! I just have physio left in the fall and then I'm done done. If they do change the requirements, it probably won't be much different. Hopefully no extra math classes and hopefully all the GPA points in those 3 science classes and math and english because I managed to get As in all of them, but my only B is in chem and bio LOL. She did say also that they were going to change the bio requirement from bio 100 OR 107 to just bio 107.

I'm jus so anxious, like tell me.whats going on!! LOL! When the pandemic first happened, I checked that lil off file every single day to see if it changed, and I stopped a few months ago. I mean, they have to update it soon... right!

At least im not the only one...I do the same exact thing LOL. Hopefully they will update it soon. I just checked the website, and it says Terry Truelove is the director and listed their email...I think I'm just gonna send an email and try to dig for more info LOL. I just need to know something!

Have you taken Statistics? Is that class difficult? I'm taking it next sem, in an 8-week session to get it over with. I wanna know what I'm in for.
