Please do yourselves a huge favor and avoid ALL test prep companies...and I mean ALL.

They are not geared towards your success at all. They claim you can simply test out of all your general education courses and then 'simply' apply to a local nursing program. They also embellish how easy all of this is, claiming no homework, test, mid-terms etc.

They ALL try to convince you that getting into a nursing program is easy. They are SO wrong. The wait lists alone are growing longer and longer. Not to discourage you, but get in early, and get started asap. You can start slowly while still working starting on your general education requirements online at a local community college or university.

Talk to the nursing schools and find out what you can do to try and speed up the process. Ask questions. Again, avoid ALL test prep services! I know them all, there are NO exceptions.

Can you test out of general education courses? Ask the local nursing school, and you'll find out in most cases, NO, you can not. Those that allow it have restrictions. It is not worth it in the end. DO what THEY say, no one else.

My opinion is warranted based on facts, not emotions or spite. I have worked in this industry for a LONG time, and I can tell you through my experience that these companies are nothing more than finance and collection agencies. They DO NOT care about you.

I can also tell you that in my experience, out of literally 10's upon 10's of thousands of people just like you, (probably more, but you'll get the gist), less than a handful actually went on to graduate. That's right, LESS than a handful.

The odds are better for you to jump out of a plane and land in a coffee cup!

Why am I telling you this? Too many people have gotten hurt in so many ways financially, dreams crushed, lives altered, families impacted, JUST because of someone telling you a pack of lies and nonsense for their own financial gain.

I kept telling myself, I need to do something about this, and finally I am. I hope you spread the word. I want to include a list of companies to watch out for, but honestly, ALL of them. Every stinking last one of them!

If it's not a 'real' nursing school, avoid them completely. You will thank me later, I promise you.

Stay safe, thank you for what you do and for what you are trying to accomplish. You are awesome people, cut from a different mold, and I admire you all greatly.
