Vermont requires formal review after failing TWICE

Published

Hello! has anyone here applied liscensure for Vermont? I am enrolling in Kaplan by January, I have no choice since Vermont requires it after failing twice, you need to submit the course curriculum and readiness test result.

My question is, how if my rating on the readiness test is low? Is this something that you can keep taking through Kaplan while you are enrolled and get the required readiness score? I will have 4 months access in Kaplan but I don't really plan to wait that long before I take the exam.

Thank you... hope you can share.

:jester: Happy Holidays!!! :jester:

im not quite sure whether you need to pass the readiness exam in kaplan in order for you to take the NCLEX exam again. As far as I know, they only need a proof that you attended a review class. I think that is their main concern...

Thank you, 'coz in their retake form it was stated to submit the course curriculum and a readiness test which Kaplan might not issue until I finish the review.Hopefully you're right so I can take the exam before April.

Hey Mike, Its a great class and review, believe me. If I had taken it years ago, I would have been an RN for a long time. Your readiness test scores should improve over the Daignostic tests if you take the class the right way, plus if nothing else it will give you about 3000 questions to practice. These questions are almost mirror image or the questions in NCLEX, take them seriously. Hopefully you will pass. Email me if you need any help.

Thank you Augustboy! will surely take the review..been so lax on reviewing myself and took the exam just for the sake of taking it. This readiness test that Vermont requires is just another load on my mind, hope I can sit before the new passing standard takes effect. Thank you for the motivation.

Btw, did you finish the entire 3-4 months of the course?

Its was only 9 days in class, but then you have access to their materila for 4 months. I still have access to it till Feburary next year. Take the class not like a punishment, but like a new experiance and like you are getting one more tool to pass the exam. I know you will do just fine. Hey send me an email, would love to be friends and hopefully be able to congratulate you when you pass. Good luck.
