I feel overworked, stressed and unfulfilled. Wonder if I should keep doing my job or quit. So confused right now.. 😔

Take a step back and reassess your goals. If dialysis nursing is getting you down, see if you can do some per diem in another unit all together.
Maybe you just need to mix it up a bit.....

You are somewhat new to HD and, I think, just took over the home hemo part of your clinic? Do you think it's the learning curve that's got you down or more than that? If it's the learning curve, and because you seem to be so passionate about dialysis, I think you owe it to yourself to plow through it. If it's more than that, then maybe Jade is right. It's a tough choice to make, good luck.

Yes, I'm also working per diem in another unit. Thanks for the advice.

Beach therapy with umbrella drinks PRN? And, if you're gonna start a topic called "venting" we have come to expect something more like Jerry Springer, lol. Good luck, foxy.

Did you just start doing dialysis nurse? If so, it takes a month or so to get really comfortable. It is really overwhelming at first. I guess all departments of nursing are pretty stressful at first. But once you get a hang of it, you are not gonna be stressed that much.
Acute dialysis offers 1 at a time dialysis for critical patient. Maybe you should try that. I've been doing acute dialysis nurse for 6 months and I am loving it.
