HEY GUYS! IM STARTING VEEB IN September I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.IS THE PROGRAM VERY INTENSE AND WHERE DO THEY DO CLINICALS?

Specializes in Hospice, Geriatric, Home care, Assisted Living.

Hey I took the entrance exam yesterday! How long does it take to get your results? Good luck in September btw!

Hey! Good luck on your entrance exam.it took like 2 weeks to get my results. You'll know you've got accepted when they send you a package instead of a letter.

Thank you, I’m so anxious?I keep checking my email ☺️. The exam was easy so I’m hoping I get that package??. Also how soon will they be expecting the deposit & will they give us time to pay? As far as the physical, when does need to be completed by? Thanks again, any information given to me I’d greatly appreciated???

If u feel it was easy I'm sure u passed!.that was my feelings also LOL. They give u about 2 to 3 weeks to put down the security deposit of 2,000$.. And as far as the physical,I haven't received any when my date is yet.but I do know you have to do it with their Dr. they will inform you when .. save your money

I'm pretty sure it  will be in class and not virtual

I'm currently still in the program and yes it is intense. we have been virtual for the entire school year for our core classes and started to be able to go to clinical towards the ending of second semester. We are currently in third semester which is the last one. Graduation has been pushed back to sept due to most of the student body not getting the minimum 150 hours to sit for the NCLEX. I can emphasize enough that you do ALL OF YOUR HW!! because it has made the difference for alot of my fellow classmates. You're paying alot of money so don't do the bare minimum just do the hw and required work to get to you goal which is to be an LPN. STUDY STUDY AND MORE STUDYING FOR THE EXAMS. second semester and third semester are the hardest in my opinion due to the amount of hw we have been getting along with exam every other week. But if you stay on top of your work, study and put in the work you will do just fine.

Also clinical is at whatever sites they have contracts with. I don't know for sure if it will be the same for your incoming class. I know they always go to NUMC(med surg/peds/maternity/psych) and Brookside(peds). And also you guys may be virtual, and or in person depends on whatever instructions they get from the state. we have been virtual even though most places are all opened up. but a great tip here, stay ON TOP OF EVERYTHING and KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING WITH VEEB. you have to ask the necessary questions as they arent that transparent nor forth coming with information, as long as you do that you'll be okay

Most of the clinical sites are all in LI, so its a plus if you already drive and or have carpool

Thank u so much for that info! Trying to prepare for what's ahead of me.
