Hello ladies, hope everyone is having a happy new year and is working towards accomplishing goals. I was wondering if anyone plans on attending the LPN program at Veeb this year. I'm taking the entrance examination the 20th of January. I'm so anxious abt school tht I've already applied for financial aid. Is anyone else excited? Any advice from students tht are still attending? Upon graduating how much can a new lpn earn in the first yr?

Damn I’m trying to cut costs lol the top aloneness is $40 ?

To be honest with you it depends on the instructor. The main reason they want you to buy those specific pants is because they have extra material attached kind of like shorts so that your underwear doesnt show also the cut of the pants looks professional. There are people in my clinical group that purchased different pants that are cheaper but look similar and haven't gotten in trouble. Just keep in mind if you do that dont wear bright colored underwear that will show through because that what will make it obvious you have the wrong pants and you will get in trouble, that actually happened to someone. To be honest i would just play it safe and get the required ones just buy one pain and wash them evey day that what a lot of people did. Lol FYI your clinical uniform is what your going to wear for graduation. Also I bought my white shoes on amazon for $13 if your interested in saving money that way. If you're someone that gets cold I would reccomend buying the blue jacket for the class room or get white, black, or navy blue long sleeve shirts to wear underneath. I suggest white because you can use it for clinicals also. Hope this information is helpful! Congrats on getting in and good luck!

Natural Uniforms Clogs sin Tirantes para Mujer Ultralite, White 9 M US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002BWR81E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IzqNCbYM6ZSK7 these are the shoes they're not amazing but not bad especially for the price.

Thanks for the info! Question, how many people started the program and how many people are remaining now?

I believe it was anywhere between 210-220 and right now there’s about 196. But that really varies bcuz we had ppl not make it past first semester but we also had ppl from the previous year come back for second semester.

The program is really fast paced but it’s more than doable. You really need to look over and read your notes everyday to be successful in the program. The instructors give you all the tools you need to succeed. YOU just have to give it your all.

It’s really not easy . You should do all your relaxing now . But it’s doable and very much worth it . But there’s nothing that compares to the intensity of nursing school

Also someone told me about something called advanced standing because I already have AP 1 and 2. Does anyone know anything about it?

Keep in mind it is an excelerated program they are cramming a large amount of material in an 11 month period. First semester isnt to bad but second semester is no joke and there will be weeks where you have tests everyday sometimes on material you olny learned a week ago plus you have online assignments. The program is deff doable but you have to study and be on point or you will get overwhelmed real fast.

I dont know anything about that but i also had a and p 1 and 2 and it didnt change anything for me lol

Also if your not familiar with conversions start practicing them now will help you later on. Ex: how many millaliters are in a liter. How many mls are in a cup how many cups are in a gallon ect. A lot for people struggled with that fist semester
