Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I'm so mad that I missed the math by 1 point. I didn't even read the whole paper but I did see something about a bridge program. I have to go back to my parents house to fully read the paper. I was so tempted to rip it up! I don't even know if I want to do the bridge. I'm going to look into western boces. Congrats to all who got in. Good luck to those doing the bridge.
grindin26, is it safe to say that you need a couple hundred on the day of orientation for books and uniform etc. just tryna but everything together because I wanna take a vacation in August because I know its gonna be a roller coaster ride for 11 months. I just wanna make sure I'm covered financially for orientation, tuition in Sept. and a v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n! lololol
You don't need any money for orientation unless you want to buy the books on site. The uniform etc. is covered by your deposit.
Youll need around 3500 at the beginning of each semester.
Definitely take the vacation if you can, I was away for 3 weeks in August and it motivated me in a way. But definitely give yourself some transition time before school starts. Circumstances had me on a plane the day before school started and the first few days were no fun...lol

Don't give up! I don't think everyone will want to pay the $500.00. So you still have a very good chance, keep your head up!
