VEEB LPN Program (info request)

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

hey trinionli, i'm upset to hear that they didnt send ours yet because im so anxious to know my results, but i guess there is nothing i can do but keep praying and waiting..i called veeb too and she said they are backed up!:banghead::banghead:..this is frustrating!!!!

:flamesonbI'M HOT THAT I HAVEN'T RECIEVED RESULTS FROM TEST IT'S BEEN EXACTLY A MONTH .I'M STALKING MY MAILMAN I KNOW HE'S TIRED OF ME

While you guys wait for your results, get your 2 reference letters ready and make sure they're hand signed originals.

The sooner you hand them in, the sooner you can make the deposit.

Most of the posters here from what I've read all prepared for the exam. I highly doubt you guys did poorly on the test. I feel its really too basic to do poorly if you somewhat prepared.

And this is coming from someone who did no prep and got 5 hours of sleep before the test.

So be confident, and relax, if you feel you did real well, you don't really have much to worry about, as far as admission is concerned.

And like I said before, its not fair to the later test takers if they started handing out results right away.

ok guys just got off the phone with veebs....the lady said that we should receive results 4-6 weeks after test date so those who tested in feb should get results soon.....but the proctor said everyone including feb test takers will receive results in april because they are so backed up. she said references should be from past or present employer or doctor etc..on company letter head.. stamp and signed...

hey grindin26,,we cannot make a deposit without the references?

Ok so.... I got the letter saying that I passed the test...... Now I have to get these references in by the 18th! Good luck to everyone!

TRINIONLI: when did you test?

Boy did i pass! I had taken the test 2/11/09, if that helps anyone. I have one reference and just need to get the second.

From what i understand, we hand in the references...wait for acceptance and then get there ASAP to hand in our $1500?

I feel like it's a race to get everything in so I can be one of the first 200 to hand in my $1500.00.

I'm just grateful and happy I passed. :heartbeat

Yolettie.... I took my test on 2/11 as well.

Your understanding of the process is the same as mine!

hey guys! congrats on passing :D:D!!! i took the test on the 11th too and i didnt get my results yet i'm still anxiously awaiting!

I PASSED!!!! GOD IS SOOOOOOO GOOD AND I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY I GOTTA GET MY REFERENCES IN BY THE 18TH ALSO:clpty:
