VEEB LPN Program (info request)

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

thanks fr the heads up miazion........going to bed now tell you all about it 2morrow.....

Prospectivestudent, yeah thats correct. They notified 16 of us from last year who did not attend in sept 08, (for any reason) that they would waived the 175.00 as a courtesy and our seats are already reserved for sept 09 if we test on 3/5... She said to give her a month to grade the test b/c she will be testing and grading the larger groups... So the 5th is thurs. So hopefully by sat. I will have my results, then it should be a domino effect...

Miaizon, i knew u could do it!!!!! Now its just the wait!!!

Nellyrn2010, u will be just fine!!!! Get a full 8 hours, eat your breakfast, pray... Good luck!!!

what is everyones plan b I already started looking into other schools but I much prefer veeb. Monroe college in the bx has a lpn program but from what I can see they want 21,000 thats a lot of money just for 1 year. And eastern and western Boces was an option but what happens when it snows really bad it is already an hour drive for me and the cost for gas shouldnt be too bad. Any ideas about other schools

hey rnhopefully, my plan B is eastern or western boces, i would much rather get into veeb though because boces is an hour drive from me too, maybe we can carpool together lol..hopefully we get into veeb..:D:D
