I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
Hmm if u think about it it could very well be true. If u fail they tell u quick so that you could sign up for the refresher class I'm assuming and that class last about 5 weeks I think. So If the standard time is about two or three weeks for results then a person who failed would still be included in the 200 that are admitted that's if they pass the refresher course.
As for what u said earlier student about the seats bieng filled and I should have taken a earlier test date. That would not be fair to me or anyone who has a test after me to wait for our test results and then be told 200 have been taken already. No way!!!! And I'm calling in the am to verify that.
i was told they hold a few seats for the people who take the refresher course . . . . .but ummm. . . .she stated that its the first 200 students with the down payment and financial aid does not cover that so if your depending on financial aid or are in a union that will pay for school that deposit is not included. This will cancel out alot of people because a lot of them wont have that 1500 at the expected date. it was about 50-60 students some were turned away from testing because they didnt have the proper documents it was so sad. but she said this if 500 students pass your seat is help on a first come first serve basis that means the first 200 to bring in the deposit. Call in the morning . . . . .you gotta remember this is a competitive field and when it comes to getting in schoo;s it all about the money, its not so much about being fair . . . . . .life ain't fair!!!
just take it one day at a time male nurse .. . . . . .take the test and get pass that hurdle then run really really fast and pay the deposit lololol:nuke:

In Saint Albans, Queens so my tuition will be 12500 cause I'm not a resident of nassau county just think about it the payment per month give or take is 1000 dollars and the cost of books and the costs of everything else. lololol I'm gonna go bankrupt by the end of the program

absolute value, percents,maybe??? I hope I dont get my test back until the second week cause I think there is a lot of truth to what I mentioned earlier about getting a letter back the first week means you failed im soooooo nervous
