Hi all,

I got the news that I’ve been accepted yesterday ? I am also in the same boat about looking into January for BCIT (I was waitlisted for September) although I have not heard back yet and don’t want to put all my eggs in that basket. Conflicting!

Hey guys, I’ve been trying to do the criminal record check but every time it says “The system could not complete your request to initiate a criminal record check online.” Anyone else having this issue and know how to fix it?

Did you go on this website? https://justice.gov.bc.ca/eCRC/home.htm 

I didn't have any issues but I don't know if VCC received it LOL

Yes that’s where I did! I had to do it for Douglas too and there were no issues but somehow it’s not working this time.. it doesn’t even take me to the page where I pay the fee, it just stops me after I put in my information ?

Hmm that’s odd! I had to do it for another school too so I clicked ‘share the results of previous record..’ after I typed in the access code. If you did that too maybe there’s a way to contact them?

Hi! Did you end up figuring it out? I’ve tried multiple times now and it also keeps saying that I can’t complete my check online.

Yes I emailed the enrolment officer and asked her what I can do and she gave me steps to follow! I basically sent the $28 and the CRC form to VCC instead and they facilitated the CRC
