Vanderbilt PNP Fall 2014

So I've applied to a few different programs and got my acceptance today for Vanderbilt's Fall 2014 Primary PNP program... Here's a few questions.

First off - I live in DFW. It's about a 10 1/2 hour drive to Nashville and airfare on Southwest is about 270 per trip. Looks like class is actually held on campus once a month for 3-4 days (possibly up to 5 later on). The gas or airfare will be a big expense I didn't realize when I applied. Plus the days that I won't be able to work due to driving/class.

So for those of you that are in the program or accepted... how are you managing this?

I'm still waiting to hear back on the others, but my GPA sucks. I'm actually surprised I got into Vandy of all of the options. I have a 3.0 and made a 309 on my GRE... Was NOT expecting to actually get in. So with that... should I hold up and see if any others come through? Is it worth it for the extra tuition costs and now travel expenses to have Vandy on my resume? Thoughts?

Vanderbilt is a great reputable school.....I would NOT pass up on the opportunity. Finances will get tight but I think in the end you'll be glad of your decision.
