Hello! I recently applied to The fall 2020 Valley Health Nurse Residency Program in Ridgewood, NJ. I am wondering if anyone else has applied/ has any Information on the interview/hiring process. Thank you!

@rev3 hi! I got word about a week ago that I was added for women’s and children’s on the status page but it says in review. My generic fall 2020 application changed to review status: closed. I have no heard about an interview yet!! So nervous .. what about you??

Same! I also applied for women's and children's and my application was added to that. It still says in review too. I'm super nervous too. I wonder how long it will take to hear back.

@rev3 I’m so happy someone is in the same boat hahah I've been so stressed thinking interviews have gone out and I just didn’t get one LOL! Apparently you only hear back if you get an Interview and you just never hear if your not chosen ..have you heard about anyone else applying?? I also wonder if only a select amount of people get sent to the actual residency (how ours changed to women’s and children) or if everyone who applied gets that!

No I don't know anyone else that's applying. that's why I decided to look on here to see if anyone else has. do you know the time frame of when they would let us know if we got an interview? was women's and children's your first choice too? I think they put everyone that applied into their certain preferences.

@rev3 Unfortunately I do not know the time frame ? I wish they gave a concrete timeline when we can expect to hear. What I did hear was that you are reviewed by the HR recruiters and they send those they feel are qualified to the hiring managers to the department which you applied to. I did put women's and children as my first choice .. was that yours?? What date were you added to womens and children .. I think mine updated February 19th. On old forums I saw people talk about having interviews Mid March-April so I was really hoping to hear back sometime this week. Also, I know in the past they did multiple interviews where HR interviewed you first then you were sent to hiring managers. I think that changed and now if you are offered an interview it will be directly with the hiring managers of each department. Also, my friend applied and was added to the ED residency and she has not heard either!

Yea, women's and children's was my first choice. My application was updated on February 19th too. Hopefully we'll hear back soon! Good Luck to you!!
