Valencia Spring 2021

Published

Hi, everyone! I just applied for Spring 2021 at Valencia (Yeah! I'm late, but covid got me stuck with TEAS requirement). I want to make a thread for those who will apply or already applied and try to get updates. Let's keep us updated and help each other!

Specializes in L&D RN.

But I also got an invite for orientation today via email for next week!

Hello to anyone who reads this! I'm about 2 semesters away til I get started hopefully to the program.

Im wondering if there may be any prep courses, classes, or books to take at Valencia or to buy to get ready for the program? I heard it hard for the first semester (not trying to discourage!)

And good luck everyone!

I’m hoping to be able to apply in August... applying to the accelerated program! I’m been waiting since May to apply... at least I’ve been able to get some of these BSN courses done while waiting

Hi! I just finished my A.A degree from there but am currently waitlisted. How did you get to do BSN classes, if you don't mind telling me?

How is nursing 1 going this semester? Any advice/info you can throw my way for if I get in for the Summer term?

Practice dosage calculations. Great book on Amazon. That portion of the class is self taught.

Thank you!

Read, study and you'll be fine.

I was going to make one once we start receiving acceptances, but until then there’s really not any point to it!

Hey! Did you get into the program? I applied in December, and I'm still waiting to hear back from VC. I was wondering if there's anything I can start studying now while I wait to hear back? I have been studying dosage calculations, but now I'm seeing that nursing fundamentals is huge. Can you tell me what textbook you're using so that I can begin studying? Thank you!

I applied at the end of July for Spring 2021 for both daytime and evening/weekend programs. I’m fine if I get waitlisted for Summer or fall 2021. I’m just glad to have finished everything and be able to finally apply.

Do you happen to know the schedule for the weekend and evening classes ?

Do you happen to know the schedule for the weekend and evening classes ? And , which campus is this ? I’m new to Florida.  Thanks in advance.
