Valencia College Summer 2020

Hi everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for anyone who’s applying for the traditional nursing program at Valencia for the summer :)! That way we can give one another updates, or anyone with helpful tips who ALREADY got admitted for spring!

I know!, me too! But you have to actually click the orientation letter.

I see it. Omg im terrified I haven’t received anything!! My gosh! But im keeping positive and what ever happens, happens.. Everything is for a reason!! I just hope its sooner than later tbh lol ?

Has anyone actually received the acceptance email for the daytime program for summer? I applied early August for the spring program. I got waitlisted for summer. I’m still waiting... know it’s not grades as I have 3.8 overall and 4.0 on all science/math classes. 76 on the TEAS...

I have not yet, from my understanding Accelerated gets approval emails before traditional so Im guessing anytime this week. Best of luck! I have similar grades and apparently I was told when I first went into Valencia that it’s a lottery pick thing but Im not sure how accurate that is.

I neglected to inquire about the criteria. I am going to also retake the TEAS and apply to the other concurrent programs. I know people with less grades already are in the spring program. I just have to get a few more points on the TEAS. I wish I did more due diligence and knew it was a first come first served. I was thinking my grades would get me in.....
