Valencia College Nursing program Spring 2015

Hi guys! I am pretty new here and wanted to start a thread for anyone that might be starting Valencia College's RN program in Spring of 2015. I know it seems far off but I have been hearing a lot about students being asked to take seats in one or two semesters ahead of time.

I recently took my TEAS exam and that same day I passed, I put in my application to the RN program. It currently states that it is submitted and to allow 10-12 weeks for a response. This is going to kill me! I want to my acceptance letter now. lol.

Anyone else going to be starting in Spring 2015? Or anyone that is starting sooner have any info or advice? Thank you!:)

I applied for Spring 2015 but was accepted for Fall 2014. There's also a chance of being bumped up another semester!

Hi I just saw your comment and yes they move you up either one or 2 semesters, I'm currently in the program and let me tell you it's crazy!! Extremely hard couple of suggestions is do not start summer term because nursing 1 is very hard and it's different than any classes you've taken in the past I also suggest to save as much as you can before the program and not work as much there is no way you can work full time, nursing school is a full time job good luck

Hi I have a question about the application status for nursing? Mine has been "make payment . . ." for more than 3 months even though I paid right after submitting the application. It just changed to "application submitted" this week. Also, any good person/contact to email and/or call regarding your application to valencia? I can not seem to receive any response. Thanks in advanced!
