Since Valencia has implemented new changes to their nursing program (new point system), I have created this thread so we can stay informed and updated.
I have applied for the traditional daytime for Summer 2022 here are my stats:
Pre-req GPA: 3.26
Overall GPA: 3.08
Admission points: 69 out of 84
The max points you can earn is 84, I’ve attended the nursing info session and they said that at the moment they do not know what range of point is considered competitive until they’ll a few weeks after the deadline application.
Hope this can help some of us stay informed with any new updates during this waiting period : )

I am looking for nursing program for ADN/ASN which are offered online
I have bachelors in education. Any programs that can build on to this degree and provide Associates in Nursing?
Thank You
Hi, you can look for nursing as a "second degree" programs. Many of those offer online but have in person clinical portions. Each school may be different in how clinicals are offered so you should do some research to see what would work best for you.

There are thousands of programs throughout the USA. It may help us to know the region in which you live (example: central Florida, East coast in GA, etc.). Otherwise, Google can help you to find a school near you offering a program.

You have to be able to do clinicals, at the very least, in person. I was advised that they are typically 12 hour shifts for Associates degrees. That cannot be done online. It requires hands on experience and shadowing.
