Valencia College 2018 acceptance

Hi everyone, recently I submitted my application for the traditional track for nursing at Valencia College. I have a few questions. One how long did it take for everyone to get their acceptance letters? I know it's says to allow up to 8 weeks but I'm so anxious!! Also, is there anything I could get before the acceptance letter to be prepared? Lastly, what should I be reviewing or looking into before starting nursing 1. Any insight would be great :)

I submitted everything back at the end of August. It took weeks and weeks and weeks to find out the spring semester was full. I just recently received an email stating that my application is being reviewed for summer and I will hear something by the end of February. Basically, it sounds like you will probably hear something soon if you happen to have your application in soon enough to be evaluated for summer (and by soon I mean February) based on what I have seen so far.

I can't answer the other questions since I do not know what to expect either. I personally am just doing a lot of reading and refreshing from pre reqs I finished a while ago. It was also recommended to me by a nursing advisor to take the class Nursing Assessment Across the Lifespan in the spring. The only pre req is Anatomy and Physiology II, so I signed up to take that.

I got the same email the other day that they are reviewing my application for summer semester and I got excited. Now that you're saying you submitted in August and you're still waiting on summer semester my hopes are going down! Ugh, I wish you luck though.

Don't get too down. I may have just submitted and the WRONG time of the year. That's good good news you've heard something. It took me months to hear anything at all!! Good luck!

I submitted my application the first week of January and received an email that it was being reviewed for summer. Hoping to hear something soon!

Hi! I recently had an email conversation with my nursing advisor at the school and she said still no word but I received the same email about end of February for summer semester a day after I submitted my application in December! Let me know if you here anything else, the anticipation is driving me nuts -.-

Nothing here either. I have just decided I won't expect anything for another month or so. It has been five months since I applied and the anticipation is definitely making me nuts. :)

Hey everyone. Just received an update..orientation will be held early march..most likely the friday before spring break. I'm so excited! I sent them an email inquiring about an approximate orientation date:)
