Hello!

I currently am an ICU nurse in VA at a trauma II/Stroke/ STEMI center for a little over 2 years. My hubby and I are relocating to DFW area for his job. I am interested to know about the area hospitals. The most important to me is how well they treat their nurses, second is the pay.

I am interested in critical care but I am also interested to hear about every other department in the hospital because I am curious what else is out there. I started as a new grad in the MICU where I was over run with Covid patients and I am feeling a little burnt out. Any advice is welcome and truly appreciated.

Parkland and UTSW in Dallas and JPS in Fort Worth are the big trauma hospitals. Tons of others in between, but do you know which area you will live in?
