To all my fellow VA nurses:nurse: Have you maintained your own set of standards and conscience or have you been beaten down and just accepted "it is the VA way."?:idea: Why is it so hard to implement change for the good, change to bring practice to modern day standards, do you feel that your ideas or practice is not in keeping with the tried and true VA values. I guess I am searching for some sort of explaination for what I am experiencing and seeing.

    On an intuitive level I feel like I know what you mean, but do you mind being a bit more specific?
