V.A. travel nurse corps

Hey all, I know that this topic has been brought up before but the entries all looked a few years old so I'm throwing it back out there. I'm wondering if anyone has spent time in the V.A. Travel Nurse Corps. I am a current VA RN working mental health, also have 1.5 years of med/surg/ortho experience. Have yet to meet someone who has actually done TNC. Just looking for info and an honest opinion.
