Hey everyone! Just looking to see if there are others gearing up their application to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Accelerated BSN program for an October 2020 start date!! I am fresh off rejection from both local entry level Master's programs and feeling ready to be able to get out there and be a nurse already!

I am sorry to hear you were rejected. Did they tell you how to strengthen your application for the future? I am not applying to the October 20 cohort but have been accepted to the May 2020 cohort. If you have any questions about the application process I'd be happy to share my experience. How long have you been a CNA?

Thanks for your reply! They said due to application volume, they don't give feedback. I'd love to pick your brain more on your experience!! I have been a CNA for 4 years, and an ER Tech for 3.5 years. I just was accepted to the University of Oshkosh, so I am waiting on the Accel Nursing application portion to get that going!

How quickly do you find out about interviews after application deadline? Thank you!

So initially I was going to apply to May start. This was what they gave me:

Timeline (anticipated)
Deadline October 15
Interviews end of November
Final decisions by the end of December
Intro course starts mid-March
Orientation around beginning of May

So that would shake out to interviews end of April, decision end of May, intro course mid June and then orientation beginning of October (I think!)

Nope. I check my UWO email daily as they asked. I'm guessing things have potential to be delayed with COVID-19 but I anticipate hearing within the next week or so.

Hey there, I applied for the October cohort and got an e-mail to do the background check and they said interview signups will soon follow.
