Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone. I wanted to share something with anybody who is nearing the end of their program and looking to take exit exams as well as prepare for the NCLEX. First of all, my school used ATI, and I found that it was pretty helpful in learning content crucial to nursing students throughout the learning process. Secondly, to prepare for the NCLEX (as I'd been waiting for some time for my transcripts to arrive and receive my ATT) was placed on the back burner for a little bit. However, once I received my ATT code (August 15) I immediately scheduled to take the exam for August 22nd. I didn't give myself much time to prepare, which was a mistake.....but the resources I used was the Kaplan online course, and the uworld.com subscription. Kaplan was okay, and I used some of the lectures to review content, but uworld is what truly helped me. I made it through almost the entire test bank (1500 questions) and felt that I had improved on some content material in the process, as well as improving my test taking skills. I truly recommend uworld as a resource to practice questions, because honestly there isn't necessarily a way to review EVERY single thing the NCLEX is entitled to ask you about. Truly, at least try it and you will see that it has completely tailored exams optional for each individual's need, and the rational is beyond compare!! You don't have to wait to find the rationale at the end because it will provide it for every question if you choose tutor-mode. I passed the NCLEX on August 22 and found out I passed that evening. I was prepared to take the entire 265 questions, but ended up only having to take 75. Wheeeeww!!!! Good luck!!!

My classmate had the free 7 day trial before taking her nclex she was able to do 400 questions within 7days and passed her nclex with 75 questions. I will use this when I prepare for my NCLEX God willing.

Congrats. Uworld helped me the most as well. Luckily I was able to get the 30 day trial on Facebook. But it seems to have expired.

Congrats! What was your UWORLD average?
