UW Seattle ABSN 2022

Hi everyone!

Starting a thread for UW Seattle ABSN applicants 2022. I hit "submit" on my application yesterday, so excited to have it complete! How is everyone preparing for the proctored essay?

So we don't find out until the 20th? I was really hoping it would be on or by the 15th...

I think our application portal says decisions are mailed out on the 20th! The post-bacc app opens on the 15th though.

Thanks! I don't feel too comfortable sharing the exact essay prompt but it is good to have a lot of health care experience that you can talk about! Good luck with any applications you are doing in the future!!

Hey everyone, I also applied and wish you all the best of luck during this wait! I emailed the department about when we'd receive the notification and this was her response: 

"Thanks for reaching out.  Decisions are sent out typically in mid-December. There’s no specific date at this time, but if you don’t receive an email by Christmas break, let us know, but emails should go out mid-December. The application status doesn’t change until we go in and update it; that usually takes a couple weeks after the deadline."

Does anyone happen to have a link to the applicant portal to review the status of our applications? I can't seem to find it in either my emails or the UW website?

This is the link I have been using! Does Christmas break start on the 18th? I am applying from Auburn, AL so not familiar!

And you're right, according to the UW calendar, Christmas break starts the 18th!

I got a call from an out of state number and thought it was UW but it wasn’t ? How is everyone holding up during the wait?

Ahhh my heart started beating when I got the notification for your post! The wait is torture isn’t it?! Fingers crossed decisions come out soon :)
