Hello everyone! I recently applied to the nurse residency program at uw in Madison! I've had the phone interview and have sent my references in. Anyone else applying? I figured we could keep each other updated.

Hey! I applied for spring since I graduate this December. I really want to work in the ER, Burn unit, or Trauma. How about you? I'm so anxious waiting to see if I will have an in person interview!

Did you get to discuss your preferences during the phone interview? I'm interested in peds but my dream job is NICU. How long after you submitted your online application did you hear about the phone interview?

Praying that you get an in person interview :)

Thanks! I can't wait until December! We briefly discussed which units I was interested in. She asked what were my top three choices. I hear they have a great NICU! After I submitted my references I got a call 2 days later, and then 2 days after that I received the reference email. The process seems to be very fast so far. I'm just so anxious waiting 2 weeks feels like 2 months! And thanks, I've been praying like crazy lol.

I have also applied to the Spring residency. Has anyone heard about a face-to-face interview yet?

Nope haven't heard anything yet. I've been calling hr everyday this week lol. I've been told that we should receive an email by the end of this week. But when I spoke to sherry she said we should receive an email next week if we've been chosen for an interview. So either this week or next week.
