Hello. I noticed there wasn't a page for the Summer 2021 cycle and wanted to start one. Which location are you applying to and what are your stats ? Comment below

She just updated my program schedule, and sent me the pdf. Said I should apply for Summer and upload my TEAS. 
 

I don’t know anyone in the program but I heard someone got on with 60+ last year. I don’t really know how true that it. 
 

if you can’t retake the TEAS now, go ahead and apply. There is no harm in trying. Who knows we may be lucky. Just take your time to do the video. Our total point should be above 75 with the video.

I saw the comment about someone getting in with a 63 as well. I wish I knew what the applicant pool is so it gives an idea of what the competition is like 

Who is your counselor? Are you getting advised at Palestine ?

Agree with you, but a lot of students are not willing to share anything online. Sometimes we meet those with very high score and lose hope. I did that last application cycle and I’m just going to apply and try my luck this time.

Did you apply for the previous cycle or did you get discouraged due to the scores of others?

In 2019 while taking patho, I applied for Spring 2020 and was denied. Part of the reason is that I didn’t do the finger printing. I was not aware that they sent out notice for finger printing. I was not so much interested and never checked emails until the day those that got admitted were asked to wait after the class. I’m not sure the reason for the denial since I didn’t do finger printing.

Were you taking patho at UT Tyler?

I think I am just nervous about retaking the TEAS. I don't want to spend almost $130 and not get the cutoff mark that I need. I am not sure if the fingerprinting directly affects the admission decision either. I wonder if I call the school, maybe they'll share the amount of applicants the currently have

Yes, the fingerprinting affects the decision because if one have a high score with a criminal background, the person will not get admitted. So is impossible to offer one admission without the fingerprinting. 
 

I’m not sure anyone will give you the number of applicants. Just turn in your application if you are not writing the TEAS again. We see the outcome.

Yes, I did yesterday but missed my ID. Also turned in the application yesterday and wondering if I can do the video and turn in another application. Emailed my advisor and waiting for her response.

Hi guys, I’ve applied to this program already for Spring 2020 and sadly didn’t get in. I recently recieved a called and set up a appointment bc they wanted me to apply for Summer 2021 because they said my scores are competitive. My overall GPA Is 3.82 and my science is 3.74, my TEAS score is 70.7 and I’ve completed patho. The points I got on my video were 13/18 so overall I had 82%. my TEAS scores is from the last cycle and she told me I could fix that score or raise my video points. I chose my video points that I’m currently struggling w LOL so wish me luck
