To my understanding, students that are accepted to the program will receive an email and a letter....so, I guess if I receive a letter before I receive an email....that may not mean good news....I am praying for the email first....

Everpark, I am sorry to hear that you were wait listed...I know that is not a good feeling...after reading your posts, my stomach felt like it was in knots...I really hope you get into the program next semester...I know that doesn't provide comfort but at least you didn't receive an out right denial

my friend received a letter that she wasn't accepted to the program...I felt horrible for her because I know she would make an excellent nurse...she has all the skills to be a great one...she is applying to other programs and I pray that she gets into one of them....

Everpark, I forgot to ask, did you interview on Sept 24 or Oct 4?

I've been reading posts from the BACC2 program applicants and it seems they are already receiving the letter and emails....but I don't think UTMB is finished with reviewing the Traditional program applicants...I am thinking we should start receiving our letters next week....

Thank you so much for the encouragement! This is exactly one of the reasons I want to go into nursing, the caring people that go into the field. I'll keep my head up. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend getting denied. Their process is a little weird! I called this morning and she was kind of shocked sounding when I asked about the waiting list. She said not many were put on the waiting list. She also said there are two more rounds of interviews this month to fill 60 more spots. (I think I heard that right). It's kind of weird that they deny people after not even selecting their top pick yet. I guess it's as cut throat as you hear.

I interviewed for the generic, oct 4th. I was a bit confused because the lady on the phone said "you are for the bacc2 right". I said no, and mentioned I thought my interviewer was confused because she asked me whether I'd accept a position for the generic! I said I do have a degree, but I didnt apply for the bacc 2. The lady on the phone checked for me today and said it was for the generic, so I guess I have to trust the system!

How did you get them to tell you? I called and was just told hey are still reviewing people. Also, are emails going out today?

The lady said she is working on them right now so she said to just keep checking your emails!!!! I can't tell you her name because I'm not suppose to know yet.
