Utica College ABSN Spring 2018

Hey, has anyone applied for the Spring 2018 cohort in New York yet? I just submitted my application and now all I need to do is send my transcripts. It seems like it's a really easy school to get into, however, I just worry about the terrible reviews. Has anyone got accepted or graduated from the program yet?

I currently have Ethics, Microbiology, and Physiology to complete this Fall semester, I hope it doesn't stop me from getting provisionally accepted. My other prerequisites are a 3.5 GPA.

I am provisionally accepted to Utica. I know 2 girls that just completed the program, They did well with no real complaints. I was worried about the reviews to but I loved the online idea. So I am going. Your GPA is great, just do really well on the the classes you are taking now and you should be fine. Where are you from? are you relocating?

Wow that's amazing! I didn't know they accepted people this early! Congratulations :) Was it literally after you turned in your application and got your transcripts sent in that they accepted you? What was your last 60 unit GPA and Prerequisite GPA? I am from California so yes I'd be relocating!

Well I am taking my prereqisites and after 3 classes,I will be enrolled in their spring 2018 cohort.I am a foreign trained physician and they accepted my some classes including Pathophysiology,Micro etc.To me,it is fully accredited by CCNE so that is it

Hi Jenna,

I was a a little neurotic with my application,lol, I applied before it even opened. They held my application until it opened and then submitted it when it opened. They did tell me I was WAY early but wanted to get it in. I think it literally just opened for acceptance cause I was asking about potential apartment roommates and they said it was very early in the process. I think if you get your transcripts in you should be good. My prerequisite GPA was 3.5 my last 60 was probably the same 3.6ish. Congratulations! @ AnesthesiaFreak I'm glad they're accepting people this early. When did you get accepted? What is your overall GPA and prerequisite GPA? Do you have any tips for me? Did you get accepted right after they received your transcripts?

i have gpa of 3.1,But that was of medical school .

Hey guys. This post is for the Syracuse campus. I was hesitant about applying to the Florida campus because it's still pretty new and had really bad reviews.

But to update, my advisor has received all of my transcripts and now I'm waiting for a decision. I was told by someone who was recently accepted into the Spring 2018 cohort that the decision could be made in as early as a week! Wish me luck everyone!

Hey guys, unfortunately, I got a letter in the mail saying that I was Denied. I'm truly saddened, but good luck and congrats to those who were accepted! Can anyone suggest more programs for me to apply to? Thanks.
