Uti medication

My friend took Azo stander oral for uti. After hour when she pee urine are yellow and orange!!! She ask me.why but I don't know to explained by the way I'm a lpn nursing student now.

Your friend needs to contact their PCP if they suspect a UTI. There is no OTC antibiotic to treat a UTI. The package insert for AZO, just like any other OTC is pretty clear about proper use and possible side effects of the product.
