Yes. I've been accepted to UIW. Waiting to hear back from UTHSC which I know is super competitive so we'll see...

for those who did the interview already, what were the questions like? threads from previous years said the questions were random so we have to think on our feet so I don't know what to expect

I am having a hard time remembering which ones were practice and which ones I did for real but one I do remember is one that asked how to fix the shortages of school nurses? The context was that a lot of schools cut funds and therefore the money isn't there to have a school nurse, so possible solutions for that (This one was the one I feel wasn't an actual personal experience and more of a to see how I thought about an issue). Another one asked me what my strategies were to balance the program with my personal life. They asked me of a time when a situation didn't turn out the way I planned but it was out of my control and how I managed it and why I chose to manage it that way. The written question was asking how I demonstrated the UTHSC values during my academic career? (Values: Ethics & Accountability, Diversity & Inclusion, Innovation, Synergy, Advocacy).

Questions are random and make you think on your feet for sure. Mine asked a lot of scenario questions and some about the actual program like how to balance school and home life. Another asked about how to address not knowing certain things during clinicals... I would say the practice questions helped me to think quickly. My best advice is to just relax and think through the questions. There's no right or wrong response. You got this!

I hope so. UTHSC said we'd hear back 2 weeks after interviews are submitted. So by the 10th? That's before the UIW enrollment date (March 20th).

That's helpful! I wasn't sure when uthsc was planning on sending acceptances so fingers. crossed it'll be before the 20
