UTHSC San Antonio Fall 2020

Applications are due 1 February! I know it a little early, but anyone else applying? I haven't submitted my application yet, but I most likely will next week.

Overall GPA: 3.45

UTHSCSA GPA: 3.5

Math/Science GPA: 3.32

TEAS: 82

Science: 76.6

English: 80

Math: 90.6

Reading: 80.9

I already finished all prereqs except for fine arts and ethics, I have no health experience, I'm a BLS cardholder, and I just graduated with my associates from my CC. I'm also applying to TXST SON (I will be attending there for a semester to finish some of their prereqs) and possibly UTMB but I'm undecided about moving to Galveston. My stats are in range based on those that were accepted in the previous years, but I'm still really nervous.

Hello! I'm a little late to this post, but I am also applying for UTHSCSA, UTMB and TWU traditional BSN programs. I started the application but haven't turned it in (still waiting for the TEAS report sheet to make it to the campuses and working on my personal statements). Hi!!! I applied to UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN that starts in May 2020. If I don't get accepted I'm going to apply for Fall 2020. I hope this thread becomes more active !!

Hi, I have also applied to the accelerated summer BSN program! Do you know when we should hear back about acceptance?

I emailed Jennifer Aguilar, an admissions officer from ut health sa. I asked her if they emailed about the interviews yet and she said no. That's really the only update I have ?

Buuuuut I went to the application workshop over the summer and she said they have to finish by February 1st so we can have time to re apply to the next cohort if we don't get accepted for accelerated. So we probably won't get emailed about acceptances until late January

Although, I wonder how they will be able to make a decision before that date if the interviews/writing sample emails haven't been sent out yet.

Who knows!!! Have you submitted your FAFSA yet? Or are you waiting for the acceptance??

At the fall info session, they told us that they would NOT be done w/ decisions before the fall app was due - just FYI.
