UTHSC-Houston Spring 2013

Hi,

I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.

HBU is expensive and is not ranked 21 in the nation.

I recieved the letter on thursday the 11th. No i meant that being on the waitlist sucks because i don't think that any one would give up their spots so i can get a call back. I will attend which ever one accepts me. I only applied to HBU and UT.

please can anyone tell me the better choice between HBU and UT. Asides private varsity being more expensive,are there other differences btw private and public University? Any contribution wld be greatly appreciated.

Us news report bases their ranking on a survey given to staff i believe it is. Nothing based of academics or test scores. I read their ranking criteria and it made me not want to go by their ranking.

Don't forget guys- if you're out in the Katy area this Saturday at 8 am, the fire department will have a cpr course (bls) for $35.00. Its fire station 1 i believe on mason rd and kingsland blvd. Try to get it out of the way as soon as possible. One less stress!

Yup! The wait hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be, but I'm starting to get a little anxious now that November is getting close.

Also, the fall semester is nearly halfway over. :) I hope that everyone who is currently taking classes is having a good semester so far.
