UTHSC-Houston Spring 2013

I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.

I only applied to UTHSC too; it seemed like most of the other BSN programs that I was looking at required the TEAS and I didn't have time to study for/take that along with the HESI (I applied sort of at the last minute because I had plans to move that fell through). Don't lose hope!

Weekends would be best for me. Or possibly Friday.

I am the exact same way!! Didn't have time to study for the TEAS, so I put all my my eggs in one basket :( I hope UTHSC takes me!

It's looking like Sunday is the better day (most likely afternoon or evening) for most.

CAN ANYONE NOT DO SUNDAY???

Haha, even HCC's nursing program requires the TEAS! :\ Ah well, all we can do now is hope for the best. I'm faithful that our hard work will pay off. :)

I don't have anything happening on Sunday afternoon/evenings, so that would be great for me.

Finally got my transcript evaluation today. Here's my stats:HESI:Reading-96Grammer-100Vocabulary-94A&P-100Math-96Cumulative-97.2Analytical-830GPA: 4.0Wish we can all get in! They will start to send out acceptance letter around Nov 15, as I was told by the counsellor over the phone.

Not sure because I thought the deadline for accelerated program was Dec 1st?

Thanks for the reply Peaches, and you're right about the deadline. I was hoping somebody would have any idea. I turned in my application and have virtually checked myUTH daily. So far, all it says is "application completed" on the Admissions status.

So if you are currently finishing up the pre requisites, your application will still say its missing the official transcript right? And we will continue to have the yellow triangle until we finish the final courses and send them an official final transcript?
