I am a BACC2 student at UT and tomorrow is the last day of the semester for us. If you go to the bookstore on Friday, Diane will be able to tell you what books you need. I just completed the 4 classes you will take in the fall and I think they will be using the same books. We have a buy back on Wednesday and Thursday so a bunch of used books should be available on Friday. There is a free lot that you can use and take the shuttle to school or walk 9 mins. I can get more details if you want. Good luck this semester, I hope you enjoy the program.
Thank you both CLaker and ladykee
but about the free parking lot, where is it exactly located?
I know that metro has a few lots including the south extension lot but I'm not sure if it's free.
and if you'd like to sell your books I would be more than willing to buy them from you. I know that sometimes textbook stores will sell books for $90 and then buy them back for less than $30, and then sell them again used for $70 or $80
I'm not sure if the UTHbookstore is that way but from my experience, college bookstores are the source of all evil!
Thanks again for your replies.
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I just finished up finals. I can sell you my books but I'm going out of town until August 30th. I know you probably want them beforehand. The bookstore is really reasonable because they sell the big pharm and patho books for about $70 each. Please email me [email protected] if you have any more questions about the program.
Hello, I will be starting with you. I have the books so can get you the list. Also the south extension lot..i think I will be paying $66 a month. Then i think i can walk or just take the shuttle for free from there.
About health assessment i am sure we will find out more tomorrow but I think lecture is 8-10 then lab will be one of the other selections, not sure how its picked.

Greetings future nurses,
So Orientation for Fall 2010 BSN Generic Nursing Program is this Friday and I'm sure everyone is excited/eager/nervous but I have a few unanswered questions about my schedule.
I've already registered for my courses but my Health Assessment says that it is held:
M - 3:00P- 5:00P
M - 8:00A-10:00A
M - 10:00A-12:00P
M - 1:00P- 3:00P
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to choose a time or if the school will choose for us or if I'm just weird and am the only one that has this issue.
and my Pathophysiology and Pharmacotherapeutics classes says that it will be held R - 1:00P- 4:00P and R - 9:00A-12:00P respectively. I'm not really sure what 'R' stands for. Reading? Perhaps?
And I also would like to know if anyone knows the required textbooks needed or how we can find out which textbooks are needed ahead of time.
Oh! And does anyone have any tips about parking? I am but a mere peasant who doesn't have enough to pay over $100 a month to park in the garages.
Answers to any of these will be much appreciated, reassurance as well.
Thanks :)
