UTHSC - is financial aid even possible?

Hello everyone. ...I just had a quick question regarding financial aid at UTHSC Houston. I am currently finishing pre requisites at Lone Star. I receive $500 Pell (don't know how, I'm sure I will not get it again at UT), $2500 grant (not sure of the name, I'll post it later) and I took our a small subsidized loan to help with childcare. I know that tuition is going to be considerably more for UT or TWU and I will need to take the full loan amount allowed but I've heard so many talking about how long they wait to offer acceptance. Had anyone transferred to UT to begin the Pacesetter in the Spring and actual had their financial aid in place? I really need to know if I need to start saving for the first semester and all required supplies and books, which I highly doubt I'll be able to do. I have a 4.0 overall and science GPA but I don't think they offer scholarships the first semester. ..??? Any information would be appreciated.
