UTHealth Houston FNP Summer 2021

Hello, 

Just starting this thread for any potential students starting the FNP program in the Summer. I was recently admitted for Spring but won’t be able to start until Summer. Hopefully I find other potential students to connect with.

Congrats on your acceptance!! I reached out to the same person and they said I was accepted and a “formal acceptance” would be coming in the mail. I guess we’ll know what to do next once that comes in. 

Good luck with the interview, it was very laid back! Just a few questions about why you want to be an NP and career goals.

She told me the same thing. Weird that we had to email them in order to get our acceptance! LOL. But I guess the formal invites just take a while to come.

Congrats on your acceptances! The interview went great, however I was super nervous and I over talk when I am nervous. So, hopefully she thought it more cheeky than annoying LOL  I really hope I get in as well! I will wait the allotted 2 weeks. Then shoot them an email, if I don't hear back. ?

I interviewed March 8 and just found out I got accepted. Can’t wait to meet everyone.

They sent me an email. With further instructions to do and congratulating me on my acceptance.

I had to search my inbox, and I found an email stating “Dear, newly admitted student to the Cizik MSN Summer 2021 and so on...” however, no congratulations in that email LOL I really wanted a congrats email. It was from a generic email from UT. Wondering, is this the email you recieved? From what I heard it’s a two part email. I am holding back my celebrations until I see that “ CONGRATULATIONS” ??

I honestly would recommend you reach out tomorrow, so you are able to celebrate with us. I am pretty sure you are in also. Otherwise they wouldn’t have sent you the dearly newly admitted email.

Hi, I also received the email mentioned above (about the EValue q&a) but haven’t received an official acceptance.  If you reach out will you update please?  I’ve reached out so many times and I feel like I keep getting the run around.  I hope that email didn’t get sent out to everyone who applied,  geeze that would be a huge let down.  Thank you and congrats to everyone!

@txchickadee I reached out yesterday to the department co-coordinator that interviewed me, and she said she spoke with student affairs and stated " they sent out an automated email this week and you should hear from them shortly." Not entirely clear on what that may mean, so I will wait for Monday and reach out to Student affairs directly. Who did you speak with that gave you the run around?
